Concept "Mongoworks" comes from the word "Mongolia", the region known to be the genetic root of the many of the worlds cultures. The people of Ancient China and the Aztecs of South America share a common genetic structure. The Mongoworks series studied cultural artifacts created by these primitive people and designed the collection with the rationality, function, and the meanings found in our traditional ancestral objects. This inspiration affects not only the form of the objects but also the methods of binding, wrapping, and tying, and helps us to honestly express the values of our cultural roots.
